Even the smallest moments can make the most meaningful memories. Step into an afternoon in the farm life with me, Tara and my almost 2-year-old daughter Miss B.

Melts my heart, when I see my little hurricane child trying her hardest to keep up with me while feeding four horses, some chickens and a Scout (my dog). Braelynn is a great little helper. Do you want to know how she helps? Well, she jumps right into her chair with her fruit snacks and just watches me work. I mean clearly, she's the supervisor so we shouldn't question her. One day all this parenting stuff will pay off and she can be the one feeding all these animals while this momma is sitting in her chair sipping her mom juice and watching the sunset. ((A girl can dream;))

Thankfully NOW we have enough time to do chores during DAYLIGHT HOURS, such an underrated blessing. Only my people with livestock will understand. Our chores are pretty simple, we just have to make and soak all the horse's grain and supplements, top off everyone's water troughs, and feed the chickens and the dog. Perhaps one day "my afternoon in the farm life" will include feeding some cows, a miniature donkey or even some ducks.

P.S. I am 100% the wife that goes to get "milk & cookies "and comes back with goats named Milk & Cookies.
